Craig MacDonald: Founder
Craig grew up in Prince George, BC. From a young age he could skate before he could walk. His hockey background showed him how to be a professional and to show up strong everyday to work towards a goal. He was working in construction and picked up a book to start reading at the job site. The book was called “Think and Grow Rich”. From that point on, Craig was hooked on entrepreneurship. Craig enjoys travelling, playing hockey, golfing, and of course-working on his business.
Jaedyn Johnson: GM Prince George
Jaedyn has been with Shine for 4 years now. Through this time Jaedyn has learned a ton and has taken on a role that is very difficult but he does it with flying colors. Jaedyn is an avid gamer, in high school, he was one of the top Call of Duty players in the world. On a weekend you can find Jaedyn chilling with his family or making sure his cats are well fed. Jaedyn is the epitomy of what Shine stands for in his dedication to the company and standards.
Justin Richard: Lead Tech
Justin has been with Shine for 2 years now. If we were better at tracking I would put money on the statement that Justin has never had a valid customer complaint due to lack of quality. Justin is what you call “bought in”, he shows up everyday (literally) and always find a way to bridge the gap between him and the customer. On the weekend you can find Justin at the local hockey game or hanging with some buddies on the outskirts of town.
Mitch Hickey: Lead Tech
Mitch is a swiss army knife for Shine. Mitch is going to school to get his Software Engineering degree and washes with Shine during the summers. He’s been with us for 2 summers. Mitch was the kind of guy that joined the team and was “afraid of heights” but after 2 days he was doing everything needed to get the jobs done. Mitch always finds a way. On the weekends you can probably see Mitch at a local concert or at the local sneaker convention. He also might be at a car meetup with his buddies. He’s got good style but don’t let that fool you, he can still clean gutters like a champ.

If we are cleaning a roof, we do not use high pressure. The roof cleaning procedure includes a special cleaning agent designed to clean the roof and kill any organics growing on the surface. This way of cleaning a roof is the only recommendation from roof shingle manufacturers.
We use a method of cleaning called “Softwash” which eliminates the need to use high pressured water. Softwash is the process of using special cleaning agents to achieve a clean surface rather than using pressure.
