1. Scope of Agreement

Only the services and conditions that are expressly written in this agreement are included. Any additional work, materials, or services not specified are excluded unless agreed upon in writing by both parties.

2. Safety and Pest Policy

Shine Property Services does not exterminate or remove any active nests of bees, wasps, rodents, or other pests. If a nest is inactive or dead, we may remove it as part of the cleaning process.

3. Right to Withdraw from Service

If Shine Property Services determines after beginning a project that the cleaning results will not meet our quality standards, we reserve the right to discontinue the service. In such cases, any deposits will be refunded in full, and neither party will have any further obligations or liabilities.

4. Roof Anchors

If roof anchors are installed by Shine Property Services, they are fully guaranteed against leaks for the lifetime of the roof, provided they have not been altered or removed by others.

5. Roof Treatment Warranty – 2 Years

We guarantee that treated roof areas will remain free from re-occurring organic growth (such as moss, algae, or lichen) for a period of two (2) years from the service date.

 If regrowth occurs within this period, Shine will re-treat the affected area(s) at no cost to the customer.

6. Weather Conditions

All work is subject to weather conditions. If unsafe or unsuitable weather prevents work from being completed, Shine will reschedule the service at the earliest available date.

7. Exclusions

Oxidization, rust, or other permanent stains are not included in cleaning unless specifically agreed to in writing between Shine and the customer.

8. Contract Acceptance

By signing this agreement (electronically or in person), the customer authorizes Shine Property Services to perform the described work and agrees to pay all amounts due upon substantial completion, unless otherwise stated.  

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the issue date.

9. Communication and Consent

By providing your contact information (phone, email, or address), you consent to receive transactional and service-related communications from Shine Property Services, including appointment updates and quote reminders.

10. Limitation of Liability

Shine Property Services will exercise reasonable care and professional standards at all times. However, Shine is not liable for pre-existing damage, defects, or issues resulting from conditions beyond our control (e.g., age of materials, poor installation, or weather exposure).

11. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia. Any disputes arising under or related to this agreement shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
