- How do you actually get the moss off?
- We scrub the roof top to bottom by hand, which takes off 80 to 90% of it, then spray a treatment that kills the rest at the root.
- Do you pressure wash the roof?
- No, never. High pressure strips the protective granules off asphalt shingles. We scrub by hand and treat instead.
- How long until the roof looks clean?
- Most of the difference is visible the same day, since scrubbing lifts 80 to 90% straight off. The rest decays and washes away over three to six months.
- Is someone walking on my roof?
- Yes, in a safety harness. Scrubbing has to be done from the roof — a spray-only job done from the ground leaves the moss in place.
- Are you insured?
- Yes — fully insured and registered with WorkSafeBC. If a worker is hurt on your property, that registration is what keeps the liability off you.
- Can pressure washing damage my house?
- It can, which is why siding gets soft washed instead. Cleaning agents lift dirt, algae and grime without forcing water behind the cladding.
