Lakewood is an established residential neighbourhood on the west side of Prince George, built out largely through the 1970s and 80s on a settled street pattern.

The trees planted when the area was built are now mature, and that is what drives the work: decades of growth means genuine overhang on a lot of streets, and gutters that fill reliably every autumn.
