St. Lawrence Heights is a residential area on the bench in the south of Prince George, adjacent to College Heights and Southridge, and shares much of their character.

Like the rest of the bench it sits above the river valley, holds snow slightly longer at either end of the winter, and is built largely with the steeper roof pitches that this city uses to shed snow load.

The practical consequence is the same as its neighbours: the roofs generally look after themselves and the gutters take everything. Needle drop from the surrounding spruce and pine plus whatever the roof sheds means the autumn clear is the visit that matters, and it is the one that keeps water moving at the roof edge through freeze-up.

Housing is mostly later twentieth century onward, with vinyl and Hardie siding common, on standard suburban lots with poured concrete driveways.

That concrete is worth mentioning. Bench driveways are often on a slope, and a sloped driveway that has been sanded all winter and then washed in spring is noticeably less of a hazard than one that has not.
