Residential Snow Removal: the questions we get
Is this per visit or a seasonal contract?
A seasonal contract. It runs for the winter rather than being booked snowfall by snowfall.
How much snow before you come out?
Every two inches of accumulation. It is automatic — you do not need to call and ask us to come.
Do you salt or sand?
Not as part of a standard driveway contract. Ask and we will price it separately.
Do you clear the ridge the plough leaves across the driveway?
No. We clear the driveway as it is when we arrive. If the city ploughs the road afterwards and pushes a berm across the end, that landed after we left and is not part of the contract.
Do you clear snow off roofs?
No, roof snow removal is not a service we offer.
Are the walkway and steps included?
No. A standard contract is the driveway. Walkways and steps can be added, but they are not in by default.
