Window Cleaning: Not Just a Springtime Chore
What an exterior window clean includes, how our water-fed system works, and which stains or extras need a separate conversation.

Spring is a useful reminder to look at your windows, not a rule that they should only be cleaned then. Start with the condition of the glass and the result you want.
When is an exterior window clean worth considering?
Consider a clean when dirt or visible marks are affecting the view, or when other exterior work has left the glass needing attention afterwards.
We do not prescribe one interval for every house. Tell us what you are seeing and whether a house wash is also planned so the quote can reflect both jobs.
How do we clean the outside glass?
We use a water-fed pole and purified water on exterior glass. Dirty frames are scrubbed, and our crew checks the windows before leaving the property.
The pole lets us reach high glass from the ground where access allows. If a window cannot be reached with the system, we stop and discuss that limitation rather than promise the same approach will work everywhere.
Is rinsing after a house wash the same thing?
No. Rinsing solution off glass during a house wash is different from booking a window clean. Ask for both if you want both services.
Our crew standards specifically flag water spotting after a house wash in Prince George. A window clean afterwards can be discussed as an add-on; it is not silently included in the siding quote.
What is not part of the standard clean?
Paint, concrete, etching and other stains on glass or frames are outside the standard clean. Screen cleaning and skylights should not be assumed included either.
If you are concerned about stubborn spotting, describe it before booking. We cannot promise that a normal water-fed wash will remove a stain or reverse damage to glass.
Screen removal and refitting, skylights and glass-panel railings can be discussed separately. This website offers exterior window cleaning, not interior window cleaning.
What access does the crew need?
We need to reach the glass with the pole and have sufficient water pressure to rinse it properly. Let us know about restricted access beforehand.
Our standard is to stop if the glass will not come clean with the system, the windows cannot be reached, or water pressure is insufficient. Those are reasons for a conversation, not for rushing through an incomplete rinse.
See the full exterior window-cleaning scope, or choose Victoria or Prince George for local service details.
The process and exclusions above are based on Shine Service Standards. We make no claim that washing windows reduces heating bills or repairs seals.
